getver, you don't have to bribe that dog with biscuits, a dog like that does everything for free and for nothing out of love for its master and out of a deep-seated reflex to please and obey its master.
We never used treats to train our rottweiler. He got rewards at the end of a full session but not for ever move. Great job. You need to commit to your pet choice, whether it's expending lots of energy or lots of money in necessary grooming.

Update on Ace - I have gotten him involved in playing some of the games ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 and I can see a difference in his confidence already! My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

I’m not saying that you don't have control of your dog quite the contrary. But he's gonna weigh 250 with all those treats.

A dog for only the most dedicated and active dog guardians. This is not a lap dog. If they are not exercise and stimulated they will start to destroy things and that's usually where people lose patience and start to neglect/abuse.

To all those naysayers - I just wanna point out she’s using an e-collar, and obviously very well. E-collars, when used properly, are one of the most freeing, rewarding, humane things you can do for a dog. The dog gets to be off leash, yet still protected from all of this world’s dangers and just gets to be a dog!! Of course a Malinois has a greater drive to WORK than any other dog on the planet. I absolutely adore them but also understand it’s too much dog for me and my family. Beautiful work. Amazing. You’re an inspiration!!
I get what you are saying. Just want to tell you, in case didn't know, that the negative effect on the dogs healthy when it comes to e collars isn't seen on the outside, but it has a negative impact on the dogs health because the cortisol and other stress hormones rise when using this.
@@An_Na_x3do you have research studies that show that cortisol levels rise with direct and proper use of an ecollar as opposed to using a leash?

Thank you! She is 4.5 years old. The change of positions is not an exercise we specifically taught her, she already sit/down/stand so we strung them together to help warm up her joints before training. Don't rush to teach your puppy stuff, at 3 months, the main thing is to let a puppy be a puppy, let him enjoy his puppyhood. Teach him how to play with you. Look up Ivan Balabanov's two games (Chase & Catch 2.0, Possession Games). Teach your puppy how to play those two games with you, then you can use them to teach obedience. All of our dog's obedience is based on Ivan's two games.
If you live in county yard, rural areas, Malinois could be one of the best animal companion that you could ever want. They can hunt, protect, play or just simply lying near you. Fantastic little beast!

Amazing, work! Do you give verbal commands during this? How long did it take you to train him? You have been my inspiration since I got my German Shepherd puppy. He is 4 months now.
Thank you! You can get the BH routine done within a year, but it's not uncommon for a handler to wait until a dog is 2 years or older to trial, just to wait for the dog to mentally mature and get more life experiences before hitting a trial field. We highly recommend Ivan Balabanov's "Chase and Catch 2.0" and "Possession Games" videos. All of our dog's obedience training is based on his two games.
